Just thought I'd share with you this kaku caught last Thursday on Oahu, ewa side of Ala Moana Beach Park. 1/4 oz, white w/black eye.

Yes, very tasty when under 20lbs. The bigger ones are loaded with Ciguatara (sp)

Thanks for the reply.

In Darwin we do not really have this problem, but they do have Ciguatera in Queensland and maybe in Western Australia too.
Down here very few people eats Barracuda, I caught one just once, and I eat it and found it good... But every one of my mates told me that I must have been really desperate to eat it...
Different place different taste I guess...
