| Just got a letter saying that one of my tagged fish was caught. 45 days later it grew 1.5 inches from 15 to 16.5 inches. Kinda bummed the guys decided to eat it, but it's all good. At least I know the fish aren't dying after I tag them! | |

| Hey,
That Must be a good feeling to know that your fish survived, till he got caught again. I have a tag on a sawfish for nearly three years, but no news of it yet.
Have a good day, Pecheur | |

| Better to eat the small ones than the big breeders, anyway. | |

| One study showed a 14-inch omilu produced 49,700 eggs, while a 27-inch fish produced 4.27 million eggs, or 86 times as many. So taking one 27-inch fish is the equivalent of catching 86, 14-inch fish when it comes to egg production.
