use a small bubble floater

My brother in law said he caught some papio with a 1/8 oz tied to a bubble floater. Last night I whipped a 1/2 oz for a while with no luck. I tied a little bubble floater with a 4-5 foot leader to a
1/8 oz and hooked a nice papio after a few casts. Good option if they are not biting at the surface. I think the bubble floater gets their attention and they see the little lure a foot or so below the surface and whack it.

thanks for the tip, gotta try that.. I have a 1/2 oz. and can't cast it very far w/ my set up...
