replacing lure

Hey Mark what do I do when my lure breaks? And how can i replace the hook on a lure without a split ring?

Also wondering how would you go about replacing the feather skirts, or is that something we would have to do on our own????

you send it back to me if it breaks. 3816 Omao Rd. Koloa, 96756. To replace a hook without a split ring, because of corrosion, you cut the hook with a wire cutter and then replace with your own split ring and new hook.

Yes, or you can order replacement hooks from me and re attach with a split ring.

So if the lure breaks or the hook gets corroted i send the lure to you mark.

If the lure breaks you send it to me. It the hook corrodes you can either replace it yourself as I mentioned previously or you can have me replace the hook for you at your additional cost. Round trip postage would be about $4 and $2 for the hook. Better to replace it yourself. Better than replacing it is to take good care and follow my recommendations on how to care for your lures.

Sure, on your own for the smaller sizes. I do the 2.5 skirts on the 1.5 oz. and heavier.

I use Wolverine triple split rings. Size #5 for 1.5 and 3 oz. and #7 for 5 oz. For smaller lures I like Rosco split rings. Size #1 and 2 are good for 1/8- 1/4 and #2 for 1/2 oz. Hope that helps? Aloha, Mark
