| Hi there, After a good spinning session, I always have my hands full of blister... (Yes I know it shows how hard is my life ) Would it be better if I was wearing some gloves? If this is the case, any of you guys and gals wearing them? What would you recommend? Have a good day, Pecheur. | |

Have a good day, Pecheur. Gloves are indeed a good idea. 1st, they will prevent possible amputation when a mishap occurs with braid. 2nd, it's great to have them on when you need to grab a fish asap. 3rd, they prevent the need to put stinky or oily sunscreen on your hands. Best gloves for fishing are "Fisherman Gloves" from Japan. Any good quality gloves that fits like a second skin will be good however. m

| Hi Guys,
Thanks for the replies. I am not too sure about totally water proof gloves, as it is pretty hot where I fish, and my hands would cook in them. (I fish in the tropical north of Australia)
But I will look the fishermen gloves on the web. And yes I fish with braid.(30 and 50 lb. depending of the reel I use).
Have a good day, Pecheur.

| Hi Mark,I've been looking for the fisherman brand gloves online but have not found them.Did you order yours online? What web site did you find them at ? Just started using braid and really don't want any deep cuts that could ruin a good day of fishing. | |

Good idea. Braid could do more then wreck a day of fishing. Try this email, info@jdmtackle.com I ordered a pair quite awhile ago and still have not received them. But they are a solid Co. m

| Haha, I've been wanted to try that place out for some time.. Probably give it a try soon. Just looking for some good spots to whip and relax. Must have some pretty nice Omilu's running by shipwrecks. Can't wait to give that place a try. | |

| Just purchased a pair of Fisherman's gloves from JDMTackle. They're located only about 5 miles from me so I was able to try them on before purchasing. My hand measurement is 9.75" as measured using the method shown in the photo so I got size "L" which fit me perfectly. The next size up or down makes a big difference in fit for me. JDM people are very nice and let me browse behind the counter and try different sizes. Highly recommended place! | |
