| Hi there,
Beautiful fish! Congratulation. Did you weight it?
It look a bit like one that we have down here, called Tea Leaf Trevally.
Must have been a good fight at this size. On what kind of retrieve did you catch it?
Have a good day, Pecheur

| Hello Pecheur I agree the bluefin trevally is a beautiful fish, and is one of my favorite to catch here. I did not weight the omilu but I think between 3-4#. And on the retrive I have the rod tip high and I reel as fast as I can, skipping the lure on the surface. Most of my strikes come this way. | |

| Hi BCboy,
Yes I have had some success with this kind of retrieve. Particularly when doing it very early in the morning, when it is still dark.
Thanks for the info.
Have a good day, Pecheur | |

| You got it KauRJL, the itersection is called 4 corners, go down the red cinder road to the end, and you will see the light house. Most of the time I go to the right down the coast towards the bay, it gets more mellow wave action for whipping, and your right it has cliffs so depending were you go you might need a slide gaff to land your fish. | |
