| love the lures and like the fish......im hooked!!!!! just today i got this guy and brought my tagging kit ive been running a $9 7ft daiwa pole & a even cheesier daiwa sweepfire reel.....my lure is the most valuable of my setup...lol..n maybe the 12# maxima is worth something...i do a pretty quick retrieve so as to pop up once in a while but not skipping the surface. the first omilu was about 2-2.5 lbs the second 2lbs max. both were released but only the one was tagged. oh and both were caught on the 1/4 oz white mw. i got another omilu exactly weighed 2.5lbs (weighed him on a food scale so you know where hes at) on the pink 1/4oz mw. i was wondering is that the size limit on the 1/4 oz? and after losing my pink mw ive been hunting for another and no such luck...anyone else have that one?? thanx and more to come. | |

| Nice work ktownwhipper! Welcome to the forum!! Thanks for the info. As far as a limit on the 1/4 oz., I think there's been some 5 lbers. There have been some beasts that that have run away with them. As far as replacing the pink, I have them in stock so you can always order online. Below FisherGirls Kagami on 1/4 oz. | |

| thanx mark....well i guess 2lb is not the limit for a 1/4 oz.... i was so excited to try my mw the first time out i just tied off straight to the lure but i notice thats not how you do it.....is the way im doing it wrong?? and i was also wondering your opinion on time of day. being a diver i know morning is best for hungry fish but i can only 9/10 times make it from noon till dark...is this still a good time to whip?? and whats with the black on cloudy and white on sunny theory? thanx | |

| I tie direct 4-6lb mono for the 1/4 and 1/8th oz. It is more risky and or sporting, depending on your attitude. I believe you will get more hookups. On bigger rigs I kike leader with a Macmahon snap swivel. The Swivel give the lure more action that tying straight to the lure with a knot. As for time of day, a.m. is always better for me, but I go at anytime to test theories. As for cloudy vs sunny, all lures look dark in silhouette. Blavk is good and I sell the most of the white/blk eyes. Keep up the good work! m | |

Just say that you bought them as Christmas presents. After all, why not get yourself the present that you wanted? Have a good day, Pecheur | |
