Newbie needs advice.... Empty

How's it.

Kinda new to whipping. I understand in order to use these lures you need a reel with a fast retrieve. I was considering purchasing a Daiwa Aird 4000. Here are the specs: 6.2:1 gear ratio 43.3" IPT 10/300 12/260 14/210 9+1bb.
Would this be a good/fast enough reel to use with MW lures?

Yes, sounds like a nice reel. I also like a 10' minimum rod that is not too stiff.

Excellent. I would love to have gone with a Shimano Stella, but wow-They are expensive! Tax returns this year was good, but not that good Laughing This reel is more in my price range. Gonna pair this reel with 10' nitro whipping rod. Mahalo from the BI.
