Welcome to the forum noypi16! what are you throwing now? If your using mono 1/2 would be good. Not familiar with the Nitro 9'. I have a 10'er that I have a Stradic 8000 on with 65lb. braid. I throw my 3 oz.ers with that rig. If the rod has a soft tip it might be ok. Check the lure weight range on the specs for the pole. Tight lines! m | |
