X's and Dots

So on the side of every MW lure there is eighther x's or dots marked in gold... I've been noticing that that lures with the x's on the side of them seem to work better for me than the ones with the dots. Just wondering if anyone else prefers a specific one? or notices any differences?

I have used many other designs on the sides of the lures including the chevron pattern and the zigzag as well as nothing except the color of the glaze. They all produce for me. Action is the key. But good colors are necessary for the slow retrieve patterns. R&D is on going so keep track of your results. m
