| HI there,
Just out of curiosity, why do you change the treble for a double? Did you notice a better action this way?
Have a good day, Pecheur | |

| I change to the double hook because it is a stronger hook, and also where I fish has a very rocky bottom and is quite shallow at places so the barbs point up as the picture displays allowing for less snags on the reef. It works for me but to each their own.
Thanks.

| That's the reason I lost a lure yesterday...Snagged the bottom...If I had my fins and perscription goggles with me, I would have gone get um...No can see without um so I did not try, just broke the line...Hardest thing to do knowing you going loose the lure. | |

| I use to use the Tossa doubles when I first started selling the lures on the 3 oz. size. After repeated strikes and hook ups that didn't stick, along with similar results from some of my team members, I decided to go with the Owner ST66 trebles. My feeling is that the barbs are too large and don't easily penetrate hard parts in the mouth of Gt's. As far as the double minimizing snagging the bottom you will need to bend the wire to get a true upright position. Or put the double on with out the split ring if it's the kind that is not brazed or welded.
